Céline Bataille was born 1988 in Brussels, Belgium.
She started photography at the age of 15. Student in Imagery Arts at the Institut Saint-Luc. Her passion for photography quickly turns into a lifestyle. She kept on training photography at the Ecole supérieure des Arts de l’image, Le 75, Brussels. She graduated in 2010. Then she studied to obtain a Master's degree in performing arts, scriptwriting and film analysis at the Free University (ULB) of Brussels. Cinema has greatly influenced her photographic work.
In 2010, she began to exhibit her series “Taxidermy”. She will be selected at the International Biennial of Photography in Louvain-la-Neuve and at the Bozar in Brussels, at the Leica store in Brussels as well as at the Culture Points of Brussels (ULB), Liège and Charleroi. His work “Taxidermy” was also visible at the Loft Photo in Brussels as well as on Expo-enligne.fr for a virtual exhibition. In 2017 his work was selected at the Festival des Nuits Photographique de Pierrevert and at the 17th National Open Photography Prize at the Musée de la Photographie in Charleroi.
